II International Biennial “Interlacements - Fiber and Metal” 2002

By the II Biennial held at the Art Gallery Cultural Center in Miami, interest among textile artists increased so that this time the Biennial presented the works of 105 outstanding artists from 37 countries, plus art work pieces by five invited artists.

“This international juried exhibition of textile art looks at this involvement: the changing nature of the relationship – the interlacements of women in the fiber and metal. The relationship persists just as much as the shifting nature of the bond. The event, a moment for reflection and challenge. The works in the exhibition, a continuous adventure of transformation".
